The quiet community of Chudleigh in Manchester has been rocked by news of a local man being charged with four counts of murder spanning two separate incidents.

The accused, 32-year-old Toby Clarke, is facing charges related to a deadly shooting at a bar in Bigwoods, Craighead, on July 13. The attack claimed the lives of Tanesha Burton, affectionately known as ‘Browning,’ and Wilford Mallison, called ‘Daddy.’ A third individual was also injured in the violent outburst, which has left the community grappling with unanswered questions.

In addition to this recent case, Clarke has also been charged in connection with a chilling 2017 incident that claimed the lives of his aunt, Doreen Hamilton, and her son, Orane Hamilton. The fatal shootings took place in Cedar Grove, Manchester, leaving family and neighbors devastated.

The police have stated that Clarke faces joint charges in relation to the Bigwoods incident, signaling the involvement of additional suspects. Clarke’s first court appearance is set for January 8 at the Manchester Parish Court.

The cases have sparked renewed calls for stronger measures to curb violent crime in the area. As the investigation unfolds, residents remain anxious for justice and answers regarding these tragic events.
