ST ANN, Jamaica — Commuters experienced significant delays along the Mammee Bay main road in St. Ann on Tuesday morning after a male body was discovered in a dump heap, leading to a heavy pile-up of traffic.

The police, responding to reports from local residents who made the grim discovery around 7:00 am, arrived to find the body with what appeared to be stab wounds to the upper body. The unidentified male was found shirtless, wearing black jeans and black sneakers. Authorities described him as having a dark brown complexion and standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall.

The discovery triggered a temporary road closure, resulting in major traffic congestion in the usually busy area. Investigators are continuing their efforts to identify the victim and determine the circumstances surrounding his death.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the St. Ann police as they seek to bring clarity to the situation.
