Spanish Town has a fresh reason to wake up early. On June 7, local selector Neako Fire launched The Neako Fire Morning Show—a live, genre-blending broadcast from the Stereo Gad Sound System headquarters on Walks Road. Viewers can catch the action in real time on both the Chédele Review YouTube channel and its TikTok feed.
“I’m determined to restore real music culture to Spanish Town,” Neako Fire explained. “This show lets emerging talent get the spotlight they deserve, right where they live.”
The premiere proved his point: Khago, D’Angel, Uton Green and Tubinaar dropped by, drawing hundreds of online viewers before noon. Since then, the guest list has only grown—Richie Stephens, Kiprich, Turbulence and Alozade have all taken a turn at the mic, adding credibility and star power to the fledgling programme.
Neako Fire’s roots in music run deep. He was sneaking into dances at age 11, mastering vinyl by 15 and securing his place on the very Stereo Gad system that now hosts his show. “Every clash, every dancehall session sharpened my ear,” he recalled. “Today I’m simply returning that energy to the community.”
Chédele Review—the show’s executive producer and Neako Fire’s manager—has bigger plans in motion. “We see global potential here,” he said. “Brand partnerships, special co-host segments—nothing’s off the table if it amplifies the artists and the music.”
With consistent morning streams, surprise celebrity drop-ins and an open-door policy for rising talent, The Neako Fire Morning Show is rapidly becoming Spanish Town’s hottest breakfast club—served with heavy bass and zero commercial fluff.
