Jamaica’s legal fraternity is reflecting on the legacy of Valerie Neita-Robertson KC, a distinguished attorney whose career was marked by sharp advocacy and a commitment to justice. She passed away suddenly on Monday at the age of 71.

With a career spanning decades, Neita-Robertson was renowned for her tenacity in the courtroom, often handling high-profile cases with precision and fearlessness. Her legal expertise and dedication earned her widespread respect among colleagues and clients alike.

Outside of her legal work, she was a mentor, a family woman, and an influential figure in the Wolmer’s community. Her impact reached beyond her profession, touching the lives of young attorneys and aspiring professionals who looked up to her as a trailblazer.

Her passing leaves a significant void, but her contributions to Jamaica’s legal landscape will continue to inspire future generations.
