KINGSTON, Jamaica — In a significant law enforcement operation on Saturday, police in St Andrew confiscated a firearm along with 60 rounds of ammunition on Balcombe Drive, Olympic Gardens.
The operation led to the arrest of a 26-year-old local resident, Dandrea Williams, known by the nickname ‘Kadeem,’ who works as a barber in the community. Williams now faces serious charges including possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition.
According to police reports, the operation took place around 12:30 PM when officers executed a targeted raid in the vicinity, resulting in the discovery of the firearm and ammunition.
Details regarding Williams’ upcoming court appearance are currently being arranged as the investigation continues.
