Recent reporting on August 16, 2025, carried an assertion that Senator Abka Fitz-Henley had provided a media statement following a meeting of the Jamaica Debates Commission (JDC).
That claim was incorrect. After review, it is clear no such statement was ever issued by the Senator.
We accept responsibility for the error. Accuracy is central to public trust, and in this instance we fell short. We extend an unreserved apology to Senator Fitz-Henley for the misstep and any undue embarrassment caused.
