KINGSTON, Jamaica (13 May 2025) — Popular TikTok creator Milton “119” Wray will have to wait a few more days to answer cyberbullying allegations after the St Catherine Parish Court pushed his matter to Friday because investigators have not finished compiling the case file.
Wray, who faces a single count of malicious communication, stood before Parish Court Judge Janelle Nelson‑Gayle on Monday without counsel. He told the court that his attorney withdrew “at the last minute,” and he forcefully rejected the allegations but did not enter a plea. Judge Nelson‑Gayle left Wray’s existing $400,000 station bail and surety untouched.
Investigators from the Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch say the charge stems from a series of incidents involving a St Catherine woman:
- 22 March — Wray and the woman reportedly attended an entertainment event together. Afterward, he allegedly invited her to his residence, an offer she declined.
- 29 March — He allegedly warned her that he intended to “disgrace” her.
- 30 March — Detectives say Wray posted the woman’s photograph online alongside defamatory remarks, prompting her to report the matter to police.
Under Jamaica’s Cybercrimes Act, malicious communication involves sending electronic messages intended to harass, threaten, or defame. Conviction can carry a fine or imprisonment.
The court is expected to review the completed file and set a plea date when Wray returns on Friday.
