KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a strategic move to bolster its leadership team, Digicel Jamaica has announced the promotion of two long-standing associates to pivotal executive positions within the company.
Bjorn Reynolds has been named Chief Technical and Innovation Officer, marking a significant milestone in his decade-long journey with Digicel. Starting his career as a customer care agent in 2003, Reynolds has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, culminating in his current top technical role. In his new capacity, he will oversee the development and enhancement of Digicel’s mobile and high-speed fiber networks, integrate emerging technologies, and manage key partnership initiatives alongside the company’s engineering operations.
Reynolds, an alumnus of Campion College, holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Electronics and a Master of Science in Digital Technology from the University of the West Indies at Mona. Reflecting on his promotion, he stated, “This is an exciting era for Digicel as we leverage our innovative spirit and local expertise to advance our network technologies, providing superior voice, data, and video services to both consumers and businesses across Jamaica.”
Kristalle Chin has been elevated to the role of General Manager, Consumer – Mobile and Digicel+. Her promotion expands her responsibilities from managing Digicel+, the company’s home internet and TV services launched in December 2023, to also overseeing the Consumer Mobile division.
Chin, who also attended Campion College, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Geography from Macalester College in the United States and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. In her expanded role, she is tasked with delivering a comprehensive suite of services that seamlessly integrate home and mobile offerings, enhancing the overall customer experience across Jamaica.

These appointments are part of Digicel’s broader strategic realignment under the leadership of CEO Stephen Murad, aimed at further integrating its mobile and home entertainment assets. This integration is intended to provide customers with a unified and seamless experience across all Digicel platforms.
