KINGSTON, Jamaica — The highly anticipated second season of the Netflix docuseries Sprint is set to premiere on November 13, offering an inside look at the athletes’ road to glory at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The series captures both the triumphs and challenges of elite competitors from across the globe, including several standout athletes from the Caribbean and beyond.

Building on the success of the first season, which followed Jamaican stars Shericka Jackson, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Elaine Thompson during their intense preparations for the World Championships, season two brings fresh perspectives as the spotlight shifts toward the Olympic stage. The series promises to highlight the dedication and ambition behind some of the fastest runners in the world.

Jamaica’s own Shericka Jackson, along with rising stars like Kishane Thompson, Oblique Seville, and quarter-miler Junelle Bromfield, are expected to play key roles in the narrative as they chase Olympic gold. These athletes will be joined by competitors from other countries, including USA’s Noah Lyles and Gabby Thomas, St. Lucia’s Julien Alfred, Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo, Italy’s Lamont Marcell Jacobs, and reigning 100m world champion Fred Kerley.

Sprint season two promises not only thrilling race moments but also personal stories of grit, resilience, and the sacrifices made by athletes in pursuit of Olympic greatness. Fans can expect to see high-stakes rivalries and new challenges as the athletes face the pressure of performing on the world’s biggest stage.
